Live at The Book Hotel · Ramsgate
Inspired music for children that adults will love too — part theatre, part comedy, with a huge sprinkling of mischief.

About the Show
Come and join Mrs H and her band as they whisk you away on a musical journey with their infectious songs. Part theatre, part comedy, with a huge sprinkling of mischief — bring your voices, your silly dances, and don't hold back from joining in the family fun!
Founded in 2005 by actress Harriette Ashcroft, Mrs H Sings has spent two decades entertaining the young and old in schools, community centres, festivals, venues and care centres across the UK. After meeting musician Ted Barnes (Beth Orton, Clayhill), the show took on a new lease of life with a collective of musicians — including members of Red Snapper, The Horne Section and Emily Barker's Red Clay Hallo — dedicated to bringing quality music to the whole family.
Their fourth and latest release, A Feast of Rhymes, is a collection of nursery songs given a new lease of life in the band's inimitable style. Mrs H Sings is also featured in the YOTO product range, earning them a devoted international following.
What to Expect
Wherever they are, no matter how small or large the venue, Mrs H Sings' interactive, unique performances have become an enriching and much-loved part of thousands of people's lives. Expect guitar, banjo, double bass, accordion, piano, trumpet, flute, vocals, props and puppets.
These are extremely relaxed shows — the band wants everyone to join in whatever way feels right. They are, however, joyfully noisy and raucous, so please note they are not sensory-relaxed shows where noise is kept low.
